Easter

I had done so well over lent by giving up chocolate.  It made me cut out about 80% of my after dinner snacking. I absolutely went ape shit over Easter weekend with sweets. I managed to go all the way back up to 135 this morning. It's frustrating because I have one good week, then one bad day turns into and entire bad week! I just need to practice better discipline and self control.

My fiance has amazing metabolism.  It's ridiculous the amount of food he eats and doesn't manage to gain anything.  He also isn't raiding the fridge like I am after dinner looking for something sweet. I did well not eating chocolate for 40 days.  I may go for another 30. I haven't had soda since Christmas.  I wanted to go the whole year but it may help me ward off sweet cravings. I have to think about it.

My intake today was 750. I burned about 1050 at the gym.  Today was a little extreme. Wednesdays are always good for me because I work late.  Thursdays are always bad because I'm off with my fiance.  The past several Thursdays have been awful... Intake being around 1600. I have to do better tomorrow!

My engagement party is this Saturday.  I wanted to be under 130 bit is not looking like that's going to happen. I did manage to find a nice blush-colored dress that's a US size 2! I can't wait to be able to wear jeans that area size 2. Currently I can squeeze into a size 4. Just have to keep focused and out of the pantry.

  1. Wow, 40 days without chocolate is pretty impressive! I think I've gone maybe 2-3 weeks in my entire life, hah. One of my friends went like 2+ years, I can't even imagine.
    I miss my amazing metabolism. I used to be one of those annoying people too.
    I can't get over your burns at the gym. I'd have to be there most of the day to burn 1,000+.
    Enjoy your engagement party! Lucky lady :) I'm sure you'll look gorgeous no matter what the scales say.
