Yuck!
That's the damage after a food-filled Fourth of July weekend. I was careful not to drink any alcohol because I end up eating more when I'm drunk. I guess at the end of the day it doesn't matter since I ate like a maniac and gained the 4 lbs that i had lost.
I went out today and got a gym membership to the gym behind my house. It's small, but its got treadmills and my favorite weight machines. The best part is it's mostly elderly people. No annoying meatheads grunting with the free weights and no one takes more than 10 minutes on the cardio machines, lol. The people are very friendly too. Best gym I've ever joined even if there's no bells and whistles like a sauna. I got the 24-hour access key so there's no excuse not to go to the gym. I already went for a run and free weights. After dinner, I'm going to go walk for a while on the treadmills just to get out of the house.
Since I can't seem to control m cravings, at least I'll be burning them off.
I got a new mobile phone. I love the calorie tracker app that comes with it! Super easy to use! The activity tracker is a bit silly though... you have to have the phone on you or one of the expensive fitness watches in order to track your exercise. You can't manually add any exercise. I need a recommendation on a fitness app. Nike? Mapmyrun? What about adding strength training? I would love to get a digital watch that is also a GPS to track my runs. But I don't have that kind of money to spend on a toy.
Bf's mom made lasagna tonight. She insists on making 1/3 cheese only so I can eat some. I tell her every time that I'm not a fan of pasta and especially lasagna, but she INSISTS on making a cheese portion for me every time. I've even requested veggies on my side but she "forgets" that part. I ate a very small portion. Even then, I ate around the cheese. Just a couple pieces of pasta, 1/2 cup corn, and green salad. I threw most of what was on my plate away. I got up and started doing dishes to make it less conspicuous. Not eating it at all is better than eating a ton and puking it up, I guess.

i think i looked like a FAIL to be honest with my weights and crap. i lifted and then a chick told me i was lifting wrong and then when i tried to deadlift, i used the worst form ever and hurt my back. then, i decided i don't want to lift ever again EVEN THOUGH I SO WANTED TO BUILD MUSCLE. it's just not for me, eh?
i'm thinking of doing the same thing. go to a class for 6 days a week sort of thing, sweat my ass off and eat back exercise cals. i've realised a long time ago that when i do eat back exercise cals, i lose a shit tonne of weight. net really matters to me. because when i net negative, i don't lose any weight at all.
i always have my phone on me. i use one of those i guess.
mapmyrun works well from what i know. i've heard good things about it.
