I ended up having a cup of dry cheerios at 3am last night waiting for my bf to come home from work. I can't sleep without him and I was so hungry just waiting. Instead of feeling bad for eating at 3 am, I'm actually very proud of myself for not undoing my whole day! I could have eaten chips or made cookies but I only had one cup of a relatively-healthy dry cereal. Thankfully, It took the edge off of my hunger.
Today is going to be the same as yesterday. Nothing too difficult. I'm home all by myself so it'll be gym and hanging out with my dog. I may have to get out of the house later just to avoid temptation.
Tomorrow is going to be tricky. We are supposed to be going out to eat at an all-you-can-eat chinese/japanese buffet for lunch with some friends. They have amazing sushi there. Small pieces but it seems like they put cream cheese in every roll! No matter how careful I am when we go there I always end up gaining 5 lbs the next day because of the sodium content in the chicken or veggie dishes. They don't have plain steamed veggies and the salad bar doesn't look fresh at all. I think I'll just stick to 10 pieces veggie sushi (20 cals per piece?), and a few tiny bites of my favourite shrimp dish. I'll cap it off at 2 plates of 250 calories a piece. Tomorrow is going to be a serious challenge!

My MOST favorite thing in this world is Sushi. I could easily be called a pescetarian, maybe I am.. I just eat fish twice a year for the extra dose of Omega 3.
ReplyDeleteI am totally the same way when it comes to gym equipment. Imagine how that works for me in a popular gym in one of the largest cities in the US.
and I always say under my breath, ""Bitch! get off my machine!" somethings never get easier to share as we get older.
I am so proud of you!! How clever to just grab some dried cheerios! I would have chugged a whole gallon of water and cried. lol
